QHA 3.5 m projection: resolving the brochure discrepancy

JYAVENRO

The QHA introduction says 3 m projection, while its selection matrix includes 3.5 m at widths of 4.5 m and above. Treat 3.5 m as a configuration to confirm, not an unconditional specification.

Identify both source pages

Send pages 4 and 5 with the enquiry and mark the required width and projection. This makes the question specific and prevents a reply that simply repeats the headline range.

Get one approved configuration

Ask the supplier to state the available arm set, bracket configuration and applicable revision for the proposed size. Keep that answer with the approved drawing before paying for a custom unit.

Use alternatives without assuming equivalence

If QHA availability remains unclear, compare QHB and QHC using their own tables. Changing model can change minimum width and mounting details, so an alternative needs a fresh drawing and quotation.

Before you approve the order

  • Confirm model, overall width, projection and the drawing revision in one written order.
  • Match mounting parts, fabric reference, finish and controls to the quotation; document any substitution.
  • Agree delivery contents, site-work responsibilities, operating instructions and the service contact.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Can the table alone authorize a 3.5 m order?

No. The conflicting introduction makes written confirmation of the exact combination important before ordering.
